The Junior Lunch and Learn scheduled for Friday will be rescheduled. Junior parents, please be on the lookout for an email from Ms. Arditti about a new date.
Our annual Thanksgiving Feast will be on Friday. Students should plan to bring a dish to share.
Seniors, as you're receiving your college acceptance letters, please bring a copy to the front office so we can post them on our wall.
All students, please be sure that you are shutting your chromebooks down several times a week. This helps updates to take place so that your chromebook will not be forced shut down.
Students and parents, please be reminded of our attendance policy. Students are not allowed to have more than 9 absences per semester without having to go through the appeals process. Also remember that 3 tardies equals 1 absence.
Thanksgiving break will be Wednesday November 22nd through Sunday November 26th.
I hope that everyone has a marvelous week. Take care.

Good afternoon Discovery family. I hope that everyone has had a marvelous Monday. Just a reminder that our Sophomores will be taking the PreACT and our Juniors will be taking the CCRA (practice ACT) tests tomorrow. First breakfast will be served and sophomores and juniors should plan to be here by 7:40 in the morning. They will be allowed to sign out after the tests tomorrow provided they bring a note.
Freshmen and Seniors will have an asychronous day tomorrow where they can complete their work from home. It would also be a good day to complete community service and seniors could make a college visit. The day will show as an absence tomorrow for Freshmen and Seniors, but it will be an excused absence so no need to worry.
Sophomores and Juniors, get plenty of rest tonight and I'll see you in the morning.
Take care.
