Good afternoon Discovery family. I hope that everyone has had a wonderful weekend. Below are the announcements for this week.

This is a calmer week for us, but I cannot thank everyone enough for making our Fall Festival such a success last week!! It was a wonderful event and I heard some many guests mention that we need to continue to do it in the future. We also enjoyed hosting students from our three elementary schools for Trick or Treating on Friday.

Our Enrichment schedule for the week is as follows: Monday & Tuesday - Enrichment, Wednesday - SEL, Thursday - Family, Friday - Community.

This week's Character Awards can be found at: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KCvJA5SU-zKfklLVq_HjaKmDA6DuH_pw/view?usp=sharing.

Looking ahead, Tuesday November 11th is Veterans Day and therefore there will be no school for students or staff.

On Tuesday November 25th, we will be having our annual Thanksgiving Feast. Be on the lookout for more information about this.

I hope that everyone has a terrific week. As always, if you need anything, please let us know. Take care.

Good afternoon guys. I just wanted to let you know that we are still 181 cans shy of our 1000 can goal. If everyone will simply bring in 2 cans tomorrow, we can still reach it. Remember, 1000 cans = Whitener doing the Ice Bucket Challenge!!

Take care.

Good afternoon Students and Parents,

Discovery is very excited to announce we are hosting a fundraiser called Castle of Cans, but we cannot do it without the support of parents and students. All you need to do is donate some cans of food if you're able. Our goal is to raise 1,000 cans. If we can reach our goal, then Mr. Whitener will do the ice bucket challenge!

Thank you

Good afternoon Discovery family. I hope that everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Below are the announcements for this week.

At Community on Friday, I talked with our students about our Pepsi Philosophy and the importance of working before rewarding themselves. This is an important concept, not just for school, but for life in general.

Monday and Tuesday are Enrichment, Wednesday is Advisory, Thursday is Family, and Friday is Community.

There will be a Lunch and Learn for Seniors and their parents on Friday October 3rd at 11:30. I encourage parents to attend this as Ms. Arditti will be covering important information that will be relevant for seniors as they close out their high school careers.

Parents, I encourage you to discuss your student's classes with them. We are a month into school and it is important for you to know how he/she is doing. Feel free to reach out to his/her teachers if you have any questions.
