Despite diligent efforts by numerous operations, secondary roads and some areas of school campuses remain unsafe, preventing normal operations. Newton-Conover City Schools will be closed for students on Thursday, January 29, 2026. Additionally, all Kid Connection sites will be closed. It will be an optional teacher workday for staff. Staff who elect to work may observe a two-hour delay. Please stay safe!
