Good afternoon Discovery family. I hope that everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Below are the announcements for the week.
On Wednesday, seniors will be participating in Career Planning Interviews. Seniors should be sure to have a resume with them for this activity. Also on Wednesday, we will be hosting a virtual information session for prospective students and their parents at 5:30. A link will be placed on our website for prospective parents to log in for this session.
On Thursday at 6:30, we will be holding our Beta Club Induction Ceremony. Students, who are involved in this, have had a flyer sent to their parents.
We will be having a flexible schedule on Friday. Students should complete the google form that was sent to them on Friday. Students, who have classes at NCHS, have to attend these classes. Also on Friday, Student Senate will be hosting a movie night showing the movie Despicable Me. The movie begins at 6:00. Tickets for popcorn and a drink can be purchased for $5 during lunch.
Juniors will be traveling to UNC Charlotte on Monday February 6th. Juniors were given a permission slip on Friday that they need to get signed and bring back to the school.
