Good afternoon Discovery family. I hope that all of you have had a wonderful Friday. Below are the announcements for next week.
On Tuesday October 25th, our sophomores will take the PreACT and our juniors will take the CCRA which is a practice ACT test. Freshmen will be working with Coach Hollingshead and Ms. Amerto. Seniors will have an independent study day but will need to attend any NCHS class they have and come in for their Summit class.
On Wednesday October 26th, an army recruiter will be here during lunch to talk with interested students.
On Thursday October 27th, the first semester Math 3 students will be taking their NC Check In assessment.
Student grades and attendance can be monitored using the Parent Portal app. We will not be sending home paper copies of student progress reports unless you request one.
As a reminder, 3 tardies equals 1 absence. First period starts at 7:40. Students should not be pulling into the parking lot at 7:40. They should be seated in their first period class by then.
Students will begin their new enrichments this week.
