Good afternoon Discovery family. I hope that everyone is having a terrific weekend. Below are the announcements for this week.
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Please be sure to show how much you appreciate everything your teachers do for you guys. We are fortunate to have a truly loving staff here at DHS that deeply cares about each and every student not just as a student, but as a person too.
AP testing gets under way this week. Students please refer to the email that Ms. Arditti sent out last week about this and please be sure to be here on time for your test.
Speaking of being on time, students please remember that school starts at 7:40. This means that you should be in your first period class by 7:40.
Friday May 6th is a teacher workday and therefore there is no school for students on this day.
The Newton-Conover Band Variety Show will be Friday and Saturday, May 6th & 7th. The show starts at 7pm at the Newton Performing Arts Center (Newton Auditorium) and tickets are $10 (cash only). Please join us for an evening of fun and entertainment while supporting the band's spring fundraising event.
Here is the EOC/Teacher Made Finals schedule. It will be discussed by your teachers this week should you have any questions.
