September 7th - Underclassmen pictures for Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors

Bus Riders will dismiss at 2:43 and will ride a shuttle with Ms. Darden over to NCHS.
The following is important information in regards to traffic flow in the mornings and afternoons as well as overflow parking for students. Car riders should turn onto 18th street (at Little Pigs) from North Main Ave. (Hwy 16). Parents will drop students off on 18th street at the gym where students will enter the building in the mornings. Parents should then leave by proceeding on 18th street and turning right onto North Ashe Ave. The same traffic pattern will be followed for afternoon student pick up.
Last year, our overflow parking was in the newer paved lot across from NCHS. However, with the new construction on their campus, NCHS will have to utilize this parking area. Therefore, for student drivers who did not purchase a parking pass to park in the upper lot (these have been sold out) and those who cannot find a spot on North Ashe facing the DHS campus, student drivers will now park in our overflow lot which is behind the NCHS baseball field. We will have staff stationed down at North Ashe Ave. to help these students cross the street safely in the mornings and afternoons.
