This is a reminder that the mandatory Power School Registration is open and should be completed by this Friday, August 11th!
Returning students and parents, by now everyone should have received an email with your child(ren)'s snap code to access the 2023-2024 school year registration. Emails went out to the parents / guardians of returning students on July 27th. This information was sent to the email that you provided last year. If you have not received an email, please check your spam mail before contacting the school. Please make sure all addresses, apartment numbers, and phone numbers are completely up to date.
Please do not use the NEW student registration option if your child will be returning this year. Again, you must use the returning student registration email with a Snap Code tailored to your child.
New students and parents, we are excited to announce that the online registration for new Discovery High School students (students coming from outside the Newton-Conover City School District) for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year is open. This process replaces several forms sent home at the beginning of each school year. Online registration has to be completed before your child will get his/hers schedule or chromebook. Here are the steps to start your online registration:
Go to the Newton-Conover City Schools website (www.newton-conover.org)
Under the Menu Tab, click Enroll Your Child, then scroll down until you see the Discovery High School logo and click on it
You will create an account (You will need to create a new account with NCCS even if you have an account with a different school system.)
Remember your email, Username and password. This online registration will be used every year to update your child’s information and complete online forms.
Complete the online forms and hit the submit button.
