Good afternoon Discovery family. I hope that everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Below are the announcements for this week. We are continuing to hit the recruiting trail this week. Please encourage prospective students to apply. Also, on Tuesday evening at 6 pm, we will be having an Open House for prospective students and their families so they can hear all the wonderful things that make DHS special! Again, please encourage prospective students to attend. Beta Club is selling hot chocolate before school this week for $1. Toppings are $0.50 each. Bring your money for this tasty treat to help warm you up from the cold. Our Science Olympiad team will be competing at Virginia Tech on Saturday. Good evening Discovery family. I hope that everyone is well. Newton-Conover City Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay tomorrow for students. Due to this delay, we will follow the below schedule: 11 period 9:40-10:40 21 period 10:45-11:45 3rd period 11:50-1:45 Lunch 11:50-12:35 4th Period 1:50-2:50 Summit classes for juniors and seniors will not meet tomorrow, but there will be an assignment for you on Blackboard. Below are the announcements for this week. Tomorrow is a regular day for all students. We will run a regular schedule with Enrichment. Tuesday is the English 2 EOC. Wednesday is the Math 1 and Math 3 EOCs. Thursday is make up EOCs and Teacher Made Math Assessments with Ms. Greenwald.
