Good afternoon Discovery family. I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. Below are the announcements for the week.
Tomorrow is make up pictures for our seniors. If you did not have your picture made before, you will have this done in the morning.
Ms. Arditti will be hosting a Lunch and Learn for seniors and their parents on Tuesday September 20th at 11:00 at the school. Refer to her email that she sent out which provides more information about this. A junior Lunch and Learn will be held on Tuesday September 27th at 11:00.
There is a required teacher workday on Friday September 23rd which means there is no school for students on this date.
Our fall BBQ fundraiser will be on Friday September 30th. Students received order forms this past week in Advisory.
Students and parents are reminded that school begins at 7:40. This means students should be in their class at 7:40. Remember that we have a new attendance policy this school year and 3 tardies equals 1 absence.
Students and parents are also reminded that we still have universal free breakfast for all students. However, there is no longer free universal lunch. If you've not already completed the free or reduced lunch form, I encourage you to complete this. It can be found on the district website under Child Nutrition.
Student Senate will be sponsoring a spirit week from 9/26 to 9/30 leading up to our Fall BBQ. Students and staff are encouraged to dress up during these days to show school spirit!

Monday 9/26 - White Lie T-Shirt Day
Tuesday 10/26 - Country vs. Country Club
Wednesday 10/27 - Wear Pink Day (On Wednesday We Wear Pink)
Thursday 10/28 - Tourist Day
Friday 10/29 - BBQ Dad vs. Soccer Mom
