Ms. Rogers, the new staff member at Discovery High School, is excited to start the 2025-2026 school year.

Ms. Rogers was a previous health assistant at Discovery High School, getting training for 13 years at a hospital before coming to the high school. Later, she moved to South Newton Elementary School as a teacher assistant and bus driver.

Ms. Rogers has two dogs, two pigs, and a couple of chickens.

She values her family and her best friend a lot. As she puts it, “My best friend and I have known each other for 30 years. So, I mean, she’s like my sister,” Rogers says.

Keep the World Beautiful is her favorite norm at Discovery because she loves nature and keeping the world clean and amazing.

A piece of advice that has stuck with her from her grandmother is, “No matter what you do, try your best, and even if you fail, you’re still a winner because you learn from your mistakes so you can win in the long run,” according to Rogers.

Ms. Rogers is a wonderful fit for Discovery High School, and we are happy to have her here for many years to come.
