DHS senior, Kyra Martin, was recently recognized by the Newton Library for the books she provided for them as part of her senior project. Below is what Sarah McElhone, Library Services Specialist, had to say.
Mr. Whitener,
One of your students, Kyra M. not only serves as a "Homework Helpers" tutor here at the library, but she also organized a book drive for her senior project. She brought an entire truckload of donations to our Friends of Library organization. I cannot say enough positive things about Kyra. She is a true asset to our library & community and we can't wait to see what the future holds for her.
