Atttention Families! We need proctors for End-of-Grade testing from May 9th to 20th.
Proctors can volunteer on days they are available from 8:15 AM until approximately 11:30 AM.

Shuford 5th-graders traveled to N-CHS this week for their CTE Roadshow.
Thank you to all of the students, staff, and Mr. Wilkinson for providing this opportunity for our students each year; they thoroughly enjoyed it!

The image provides the updated testing dates by grade level. Please plan accordingly so your child is present and on time on their designated testing day.

Attention Shuford Families - this message is for parents of bus 86 riders. The bus is currently inoperable and the time that a sub bus will arrive is unknown.

🥫 Our Student Counsel will be hosting a Canned Food Drive to benefit The Corner Table. The collection will run until April 4th. Our competition will be between classes and grade levels. The winning class that collects the most items will win a pizza party, and the grade level with the most will win extra recess.
Please remember there will be 🚫 NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS tomorrow, or Monday, March 17th, 2025. Students will return on Tuesday, March 18th, and may begin entering the building at 7:45 am.

Kid Connection will remain on a 2-hour delay at North Newton. Out of an abundance of caution due to predicted overnight/early morning precipitation and below freezing temperatures, Newton-Conover City Schools & Kid Connection will operate on a 2-hour delay for Students and Staff on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Students may begin entering the building at 9:45 am.
