Good afternoon Discovery Family. I hope that all of you are having a wonderful weekend. Below are the announcements for this week.
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. I hope that all of you will join me in thanking our wonderful DHS teachers for everything they do on a daily basis for all of you.
Here is the end of year testing schedule.
If you have exceeded 9 days absent, please pick up an Attendance Appeals form in the front office. This needs to be completed and submitted back to the office by Friday May 19th. If you have over 9 absences and do not complete this form, you will automatically forfeit credit for any class you have over 9 absences.
We will have Senior Awards and Field Day on Friday May 12th. Below is the schedule we will follow:
Awards Day- 9:00 AM-10:30 AM
-Yearbook Designation-
Lunch- 11:30 AM-12:30 PM
Field Day- 12:30 PM- 2:00 PM
The following is for Junior and Senior Summit participants about Textbook Returns:
Promise Scholar Juniors and Seniors: Be sure you are checking your CVCC email for instructions/information on returning CVCC Textbooks to the CVCC Library and Overdue Fees. The deadline to return textbooks without penalty is Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Failure to return textbooks in a timely manner may result in a late fee and/or replacement fees and you won't be able to get books next year (juniors) or your transcript will be on hold (seniors). Please contact Mrs. Williams (CVCC Scholar Advisor) if you have questions or concerns.
