Report cards were given out on Friday. Please review these for your student(s) and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
There is no school tomorrow in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We will see students back at school on Tuesday.
Remember that school starts at 7:40. Students should be in their class each morning at this time.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the Blood Drive on Friday. We were able to get 23 pints of blood. This met the goal that the National Honor Society had set. A special thanks to them and Mr. Scronce for their leadership with this endeavor.
Congratulations to Jonathan Ebel, Jacob Jones, Ryan Dant, Adrick Rosales, and Peyton Surridge for being selected to All-District Band. Best of luck to Peyton as she auditions for All-State Band as well.
We continue on the recruiting trail this upcoming week. Thanks to all of the students who have gone and who will go to the surrounding middle schools. They are doing a tremendous job of explaining what a tremendous school DHS is and why prospective students should consider applying. We will also have an in person informational session on January 26th at 5:30 and a virtual informational session on February 1st at 5:30. Please encourage anyone you know, who may be considering applying, to attend one of these sessions.
