Good afternoon Discovery family. I hope you've all had a terrific weekend. Below are our announcements for this week.
Our Application Process is now open for next year. If you know of any prospective students who would be a good fit for Discovery, please encourage them to apply. We will be out recruiting at our local middle schools over the next two weeks. We will also host a virtual parent open house on Tuesday January 25th and Thursday January 27th at 5:30.
We will be back to a regular schedule this week.
Our National Honors Society will be sponsoring a blood drive on Friday January 14th. Please consider participating in this event.
Seniors and senior parents, Madeline Loy needs baby pictures by January 15th for the yearbook. You may email them to her at 12067954@stu.n-ccs.org. Also, information for purchasing a Senior Ad can be found here. Pictavo has a hotline for anyone who needs any help with buying yearbooks or purchasing a senior ad. The number is 800-290-0036, and their hours of operation are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday (CST).
Junior and Senior Summit students need to complete the Community Service Google Form that was sent out last Friday if they haven't already done so.
Monday January 17th is the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday and therefore there will be no school for students or staff on this day.
Please continue to monitor yourself for Covid-like symptoms. If you have any of the symptoms, please do not come to school and contact the school so our school nurse can reach out to you.
