Good afternoon Discovery Family and Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers out there! Below are the announcements for this week.
Here is the end of year testing schedule for the next two weeks. All students are expected to attend school on Monday May 15th, Wednesday May 17th, and Friday May 19th. Only biology students will have to attend on Tuesday May 16th for their EOC and only Math 1 students will need to attend on Thursday May 18th for their EOC. The Math 3 EOC will be Tuesday May 23rd. If you did not get an end of year testing form on Friday, please be sure to pick it up on Monday.
Students will need to turn in their chromebooks on their last day they are in attendance for the 2022-23 school year. For most of you, that will be Friday May 19th. You will need to turn in your chromebook, charger and case to Ms. Darden.
If you have exceeded 9 days absent, please pick up an Attendance Appeals form in the front office. This needs to be completed and submitted back to the office by Friday May 19th. If you have over 9 absences and do not complete this form, you will automatically forfeit credit for any class you have over 9 absences.
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, I encourage all of you to wear green on Tuesday May 16th. #endthestigma
