Remote Learning

Beginning Friday March 20, 2020, remote learning will begin for all students in Newton-Conover City Schools.

All students will engage in remote learning online. Thanks to the K-64 Chromebook partnership and the One Million Project, all high school students have a Chromebook to use at home and internet access. Sprint will also be doubling the data allotment from 10 GB to 20 GB per month through June 30th for students that have a hotspot. Teachers will be contacting students regarding online learning expectations by 12:00 pm tomorrow. Daily assignments will be posted each day by 7:40 am. Teachers will also have office hours. During office hours, teachers will be available for questions or individual support.

Due to the uncertainty of everything right now, prom will be canceled. Depending on what happens, we may try to host a prom for students here at the school at a later date.

Students, please be sure to check email daily for updates from the school or your teachers.

Thank you all for your patience and partnership as we work to develop opportunities for student learning to continue during this uncertain time. We will continue to update you as more information becomes available. Please feel free to contact us if you need anything.
